About
About Real Peptide Scores
Real Peptide Scores is an audit of peptide vendor Certificate of Analysis programs. We score vendors on what they publish, not on samples we claim to test. Every score traces to public evidence — COAs, lab portals, Wayback snapshots — and the rubric, the dataset, and the per-vendor evidence URLs are all published so any audit can be re-checked.
Editorial standards
Every claim in a vendor profile must link to a re-checkable artifact. If we cannot verify something, we say so and leave the field null. We do not paraphrase a vendor's marketing into a fact. We do not infer COA cadence from "we test every batch" — we count the COAs.
Conflict-of-interest policy
- No affiliate relationships with audited vendors.
- No paid placement, no "sponsored" grades, no advertising slots tied to ranking.
- If we develop a commercial relationship with a vendor in the future (e.g. lab partnership), the relationship is disclosed at the top of that vendor's profile and the audit is recused to a third party.
What this site is not
- Not a lab. We do not test samples. We audit what vendors publish about their own testing.
- Not pay-to-play. Vendors cannot pay to be added, removed, or re-scored.
- Not a directory. We don't list vendors we haven't audited.
- Not a customer-experience review. A vendor with thousands of positive customer reviews can still grade F here if their public-evidence story is thin. The two are different questions.
- Not medical advice. Information here is for informational purposes only.
What's coming
This v1 documents a manual audit of named vendors. The next phase is a continuous audit: a Cloudflare Worker crawler that re-checks each vendor's COA index on a rolling schedule, records changes, and publishes diffs. Audit history will be queryable and timestamped.
How a grade can change
Grades update on three events:
- A re-audit (scheduled or vendor-requested).
- New publicly verifiable evidence — e.g. the vendor publishes new COAs from a verifiable lab.
- An error correction in the prior audit. Corrections are timestamped and the prior version stays in the record history.
Contact
Vendors: dispute resolution and re-audit requests welcome. Researchers and journalists: dataset access and methodology queries welcome.
